New in Utah starting January 1, 2023, ALL drivers 18+ of any UTV must complete a short and free education course. ALL drivers 16-17 that have a valid drivers license must complete a different Utah Youth Certification Course which is $35 and takes about 3-4 hours. These are valid for life. Driving a UTV can be beginner friendly for licensed automotive drivers. We provide an in-depth orientation before you head out on the trail, but a driver's choice of trail should not exceed the driver's ability level. If you encounter an obstacle that seems too difficult, turn around and choose a trail that you are more comfortable with.
